Greetings and salutations!
So, on this rainy saturday afternoon, I thought I would pass some time by popping up a few “get to know me” questions. I love these in general and I always enjoy looking back on them so let’s get this show on the road! I just got these questions off a yahoo answer thing.
1. Do you have any pets?
Yes I do! This is me with is my number one fur prince, Vinny. He is ten months old, a libra, and I got him in february I am more of a dog person, I am animal mad however and if it was up to me, I would have one of everything including lizards and snakes.
I love my kitty so much, I would love to have a few dogs but with mine and my fellas work rountine it is just not possible at the moment but one day…
2. Name three things that are physically close to you?
My Elvis glass tumbler full of squash ( proper British thing, a glass of squash) , my Elvis cup of Tea and the above mentioned cat!
3. What’s the weather like right now?
Rain! It has rained everyday this week. It is grim up north sometimes!
4. Do you drive?
I have a licence to drive a forklift truck but I have never learnt to drive an actual proper car and this has always been because of the price. When I was 18 it was £25 an hour, not including all the fees before that, and because I lived in a small town, you had to book ten lessons at once. I have never had that kind of money to hand, and neither did my parents. It is on my list now I live in a bigger place for sure.
5. What time did you wake up this morning?
Well, my silly kitty woke me up for cuddles and breakfast at 8am but because I am on my holidays, I went back to bed until about 12. I am a night owl, give me sunsets over sunrises any day!
6. What was the last movie you saw?
If…starting Malcolm McDowell, one of my all time favourite films. My friend Doug gave me this tshirt, all I know about it is that it’s screen printed. In my “I love it so much I wear it once a year” part of the wardrobe.
7. Have you ever been to a different country?
Well, I could be a pedantic bitch right now as I often nip over the border to Scotland but yes, I have been to France, Czech Republic, Poland and Greece. I have not left the European continent though and I would love to go to Canada and America.
8. How many siblings do you have?
I have two brothers, I am the forgotten about middle child! My younger brother is currently living in Australia, and the less said about my older brother the better. We do not get on. There is only 15 months difference between me and my younger brother so we grew up together and he is a cool dude!
9. Do you wear contacts or glasses?
Both! I wear glasses more though because they are just easier aren’t they all my fellow specky beckys…
10. Do you colour your hair?
When I was younger, I was every colour under the sun but not for a long time now. Sometimes I pop in a wash in/out colour, but never a permanant colour. My hair changes with the seasons, it goes light in the summer, reddish in the autumn and dark red/ brown in the winter, so I get colour changes for free!
11. What are you planning to do today?
My fella is on nights tonight so my friend is coming over and things will no doubt get messy!
12. Have you ever pulled an all nighter?
Yes and at least 3 nights a week for my job. I have always been a night owl!
